Faces of the Alcazar is a photography project documenting early magazine clippings displayed on the walls of a closed section in the Lightner Museum. Once the servant's quarters of the former Alcazar Hotel, they were likely added by the Irish and Italian immigrants who served its wealthy patrons. For me, these faded fragments evoke the ephemeral nature of youth, memories and fame.
