Portrait of Floyd Phillips

I was very excited to meet and photograph Floyd Phillips, the president of Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center in St. Augustine FL.  Filled with artifacts of African American history, the museum also and serves as a center for cultural activities in the Lincolnville neighborhood.  I’m getting more comfortable using an off camera flash and enjoy the intimate look it gives to portraits. More information about the museum can be found here.

Tiffany Glass at Flagler College-St. Augustine FL

Flagler College in St. Augustine FL, once called The Ponce de Leon Hotel, was an exclusive luxury hotel built by the millionaire Henry M. Flagler and completed in 1888. Here are some images of the Tiffany glass and painted murals in the dining hall which I photographed recently. This building is a true treasure and represents Florida history at it’s best. More info about the history of Louis C. Tiffany and Flagler College can be found here.

Beaches Energy shoot

Jacksonville, FL 12/21/17 ~ Had a great day shooting photographs of the Beaches Energy lineman for their social media feeds. These guys are true professionals and are always there when natural disasters strike. The 12-24mm Sony lens was the perfect choice for some tight shots needed in the bucket and I used some fill flash in the bright lighting conditions.
